The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key role in driving the commercial growth of TOKEII by identifying new business opportunities, expanding retail and wholesale channels, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing brand visibility and revenue. The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong retail, fashion, or lifestyle sector experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Strategy
-Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, online, and international markets.
-Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with TOKEII’s brand values and growth objectives.
-Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
Partnerships & Sales Development
-Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, stockists, and strategic partners.
-Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and partnership agreements.
-Explore collaborations with boutiques, concept stores, pop-ups, and international buyers.
Retail & Brand Expansion
-Support growth of the flagship Notting Hill store through partnerships, events, and targeted initiatives.
-Identify opportunities for new store locations, pop-ups, or concessions.
-Work closely with marketing teams to enhance brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Financial & Performance Management
-Monitor sales performance, revenue targets, and profitability of new initiatives.
-Prepare business forecasts, reports, and performance updates for senior management.
-Ensure all activities align with company budgets and financial goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
-Collaborate with marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure consistent brand positioning.
-Represent TOKEII at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required
-Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role, preferably in retail, fashion, lifestyle, or luxury goods.
-Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
-Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
-Experience working with premium or ethically focused brands is highly desirable.
-Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
-Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-growing business environment.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
-Additional qualifications in sales, marketing, or retail management are an advantage.

Salary: £41,000 to £45,200
